The bucks are on the move!

Guide TalkSightings

I have been placing trail cams out since bear season and had some interesting pics. There was a scrape I came across back in the first week of Oct. Yes Oct. The first night the cam was out a small 6 point visited it . The third night a big high racked 8 point showed up and worked the scrape. I put out another on an apple tree where I killed a buck last year. The scrapes started the 2nd week of Oct. from the time I put out the camera tillNov.2nd it took pictures of 5 different bucks. Now that same place has no images at all. This tells me that they are in the chase phase where they move day in and day out seaching for those first receptive does. This week should really show some buck doe activity I hope to get out to put the smack down on one myself.
